the performance cdi's are not as good as the factory ones and tend to burn up. no personal experience just what ive heard.
in the us market the cdi's were not restricted so with the aftermarket ones dont show any improvement.

when installing a big bore kit, it is advised to run premix and do away with the oil pump. the oil pump output is not adequate.

be carefull to high of compression and jetting off will lead to this.

is there a barbed output under the oil pump to run the fuel pump low down on the crankcase.

intake port or boost port? i havent torn down my af18e yet, but the intake bolt pattern for carb is wider.

could have ruined bearings running it with out oil. kinda sounds like a clutch issue. does it spin smoothly when turning rear wheel. I can feel it wanting to move forward while idling, kinda popping a bit. this sounds like clutch issue.
