It is fun to ride it around in the snow, but don't slip. Just pile up a bunch of snow and hit it at 30, its fun.

Yes, it is 12 volts. I got mine off of ebay and it has worked great for about 2 years. You can sometimes fine the batteries that are 3 amp hours, they have a little more cranking life than the two amp hour batteries.

I doubt that it matters a whole lot for a spree. But, the main thing you need to make sure you have is INJECTOR OIL. DO NOT USE MIX OIL OR MARINE OIL, this will cause massive carbon clogging in the exhaust port. Personally I use Lucas 2 Stroke Injector Oil, and it has worked fine for years.

I would hypothesize that the experiment would fail. If you drilled into the actual block than the piston would catch the new hole and probably rip the rings.

I'll second that, the engine looks to be in great condition. The plastics are very nice as well. It is going to make a great spree once you get it all together nicely. Looks GREAT!

Another thing with the carb. With the bowl off Take some carb cleaner with the straw fitting on it and blast it down each of those little holes in the intake of the carb on that circular outside part. You should see a good amount of flow coming out the holes on the inside of the carb where the bowl ...

That is very strange about the VIN Number. Right next to the number under the front fairing of the bike, just behind the front tire is a VIN Number. Right next to that it should tell a year for that particular bike. You may need to push back the fairing to get a look at it but it is commonly there. ...

On one hand we do lost focus on the spree itself, but i would be very interested in seeing what people do if they put a faster engine on a spree, such as an elite engine. I say go for it.

I did this procedure to my spree, not my friend's this time. Scraping some carbon out of the exhaust port gained me an additional 3 mph in comarison to what i was going. It runs great for now. I guess this is standard procdure about every 1,000 miles. It helps to not use premium gas. Premium seems t...
