Re: New to forum, mods for a dio

im just shooting from the hip and throwing things out there, but it sounds like a clutch issue to me. like in a car, if you have a shot clutch, getting moving from a dead stop is difficult, but once the clutch finally engages and you get moving your game on. in the case of the scooters, your rpm dic...

Re: What is this scooter worth ?

when you consider the amount of money to make it go almost 50 mph, that is a great cost/speed ratio. if the seller doesnt budge and sells it for 500, 40 for variator and weights, 50 for gears and that basically 600 dollars for a 50cc that will do 50mph. factor in the low mileage, so the stock bore w...

Re: What is this scooter worth ?

that scooter is most likely worth the 500 dollar asking price. i paid 500 for mine, and there really arent many elites for sale around here.
and as for the motor it should be a dio. i dont see why it wouldnt be. you should buy it, in the spring deals like that probably wont stick around.

Re: rear shock length help.

alright, that sounds like the route im going to go,i just want a tiny bit of lift in the rear. that might have to come last on my scooter parts list because that is quite the chunk of change to drop for what its going to do for me.
thanks,Rob

Re: my spree well run &stop

this might be helpful for me too, how do you clean the filter in the tank well? the gas cap hole is pretty small to get any sort of tool in there.

Re: my spree well run &stop

mine had same exact symptoms, as said above clean the carb, alot. that did the trick for me. when you get the carb apart, holding the main carb body, the side that has two brass tubes coming out of it is what you probably need to focus on. take out the main jet (larger tube) using a flathead, carb c...

Re: Terrible day for my new elite SR
