Re: Se50 carb upgrade

What's the damage for one of those? Can you use the stock throttle cable?

Se50 carb upgrade

Need a carb. Have a 65cc bbk on. Thought it would be better to get a larger carb. Any suggestions?

Cable Problems

My throttle cable on my se50 has pulled out from where it and the oil pump cable merge. Anyone else had this problem and fixed it? Just got rid of my oil pump thinking about simple chucking the oil pump cable and strapping the throttle cable to the main cable.

Re: no spark! Alternator?

resistance was actually correct. I was accidently mixing up the charge coil measurements at the coupler with the alternator/pulsor measurements.

Re: no spark! Alternator?

the resistance test for the alternator and pulse generator at the coupler came up above the manuals stated range. If i'm remembering, i got a 1.3 for both measurements when you're supposed to get somewhere below 1 according to the manual. Not sure if that is significant. If i have to replace the sta...

no spark! Alternator?

Trying to eliminate the alternator as the culprit. I've put the plug against the head and tested while kicking without a spark. I've put my CDI on my other scooter without any malfunction. My ignition coil is fine. How would you test the alternator or pulse generator? And even with either of them no...

Compression prob?

I can get my engine to turn with my spark plug out or exhaust is off but not while either is in. Is there something that would make the compression so high that it can't turn? Cleaned the exhaust out with draino, has a new reed valve. Notice significant amount of oil in crankshaft. I've put a bbk on...

Silicosis

Don't use sand. I just started researching sandblasting and have heard from a few different sources that it's pretty bad for you. http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t140842.html THE USE OF SILICA SAND FOR SANDBLASTING HAS BEEN OUTLAWED FOR MANY YEARS DUE TO THE MAJOR HEALTH RI...
