Spree Snorkel . . .
. . . aka, air filter fresh air intake relocate
Since I ride in dusty areas off-road and got tired of diving into the air filter to maintain it, came up with a new air intake that's easy to service with furnace filter media (after plugging off the OEM intake ports) and not removing any body panels.

Re: Replacing carb on '86 Honda Spree NQ50 but the new part is different?
Yes, you have the wrong carb and obviously a china-clone . . . I vote for keeping your OEM carb but perhaps you can post pics of the OEM off the bike assembled and then more pics after it's taken apart? Carb "cleaning" means different things to different people. btw . . . why did you buy a...

Re: Custom Wheels
Where do you all get your alloy or custom wheels? Have you considered chrome plating your stock wheels . . . or maybe the whole scoot? The stock honda elite wheels are not worth it. I use chf50 wheels from a metropolitan and they are so much more sturdy and tubeless! Chrome those! . . . or a bucks ...

Manual Remote Choke Mod V2.0
Posting a few pics of my take on a manual remote choke mod for the stock '86 Spree with #65 factory main jet (not the undersized chinese clone main jet) . . . would be interested in seeing what others have done for remote chokes . . . goodbye bystarter woes . . . "running too rich" . . . ...

Re: Spree won't do a thing after carb clean
Been there, done that . . . my money is on the bystarter . . . I did a bystarter delete on mine with #65 stock Honda main jet and an oil pump driven gear delete and never looked back

Re: Yet another Spree Muffler cleaning question . . .
The muffler weighed in at 4 lbs 11 oz before I cut it open. After cleaning with barbeque grill cleaner and removing the oil saturated stuffing (5000 miles worth) I'm off to Mighty Muffler to get it all welded up for $25. Decided not to replace the old stuffing and now I know for sure the inside is c...
