Re: Kymco People 50 2 T
The airsal kit went into the trash last night, and should be on its way to the dump as we speak (garbage man comes on friday in my hood). I am anxiously awaiting new parts to bring back to stock on the slow boat from Taiwan. I should have all parts hopefuly within the next 2 weeks. Chalk this one up...

Re: Kymco People 50 2 T
The entire bbk is toast. There are a few nicks inside of the jug, so after honing it would need to be replated. The PO did not do anything with the carb after the bbk install. I talked with one of the the suppliers of this kit (moped hospital www.mhr-usa.com). He said that with the Kymco, you cannot...

Re: Kymco People 50 2 T
Wheelman, I woke up in the middle of the night thinking the same thing about splitting the case and cleaning. Not much metal scrapped off of the piston, but there is enough for me to worry. This is a big drag. I wish I had known there was a bbk installed on bike. still would have bought it, but woul...

Re: Kymco People 50 2 T
thanks bear. what do you think could be the cause? was I assuming correctly with the lack of oil? Do all bbks require that you run extra oil in the gas?

Re: Kymco People 50 2 T
plug looked a little lean. will have to dig into carb tomorrow to check jetting. there have been no mods to the air intake box, or filter. can hone the inside of the jug. it is almost flawless. Kymco People 50 2 T
Hi, I bought a 2001 people 50 2 stroke about a month ago. While riding to work at 50+ mph my engine died on me. Thought I might have blown head gasket, so I ordered a new gasket set and piston set from scooter assasins on ebay. Today I started to take her apart to be ready when the parts come in. On...

Re: Daily Use
I agree with you on that one wheels. The purpose changed. I did end up cooking the kymco yesterday. Rode at wot for more than a few minutes, seeing 50 mph+. Was enjoying ride so much didnt want to slow down. Dumbass.... I believe that I cooked the head gasket. There is little to no compression. She ...

Re: Daily Use
I have recently sold my 1984 spree and purchased a 2 stroke Kymco People 50. I love the bike, and it makes my daily commute much more enjoyable. It is very quick off the line, accelerates quickly to 28-30 mph, struggles a bit to 35 mph, and then again is very quick from 35 to 45-50 mph. It cuts my 2...

Re: Help no start
just disconnect lower line from intake manifold and suck on it. that should get the fuel flowing. To check if you are getting fuel after that, crack the screw on the carb bowl, and see if any drips out. I would also imagine that your air bubbles in oil line will go away once the engine is running.

Re: 4/20
I celebrated by walking around NYC for the day, enjoying a skunk mowie hybrid developed by my farmer friend who is a legal mmj caregiver here in RI. Canolies in Little Italy tasted even better after a day of "walking".
