Re: Aero 50 Owners
Okay, got a few pics taken today. Bolted to my fixture w/both signal lights lit (mine is broken on the bottom where the license plate bolts on - will remedy by bolting on a piece of plexiglass: http://i924.photobucket.com/albums/ad82/boojadean/P2270024.jpg Picture with a yellow circle around the tab...

Re: Aero 50 Owners
so do the turn signal reflectors line up with the lenses on the vision lens? like when you hit the signal, will it light up part of the brake lens as well. if not i may place an order asap! I hooked mine up to a battery charger and yes, it does a little bit, though not very noticeable :imo: . If yo...

Re: Aero 50 Owners
Got it in this morning! It DOES fit, however, it isn't quite perfect. The screw holes on the bottom line up just right but the top tabs are each set out about an inch or so from where the originals hooked in. Also, the curvature of the new lens seems to be just slightly less than the taillight fixtu...

Re: Aero 50 Owners
It shipped Monday. No tracking number, so who knows where it is or how long it will take to get here. I will give a report when I find out if it works!

Re: 84 Honda Spree rings (where can I buy)?
Thanks for info. Is it "possible" to change rings a few times before having to bore? I would say as long as the bore keeps measuring out within spec you can change rings as many times as you want, though I doubt you would ever get more than 2-3 sets in before the bore was out of spec. I w...

Re: 84 Honda Spree rings (where can I buy)?
Where can I buy rings for 84 Spree? Almost 5000 miles. Cold motor tested at 75psi. Only goes about 20mph. Looks to have been never changed. Might it be possible to replace with std rings? I know i'll have to measure cylinder first, but is it possible to replace std rings on 1st rebuild (after cross...

Re: Aero 50 Owners
Just bought one - I think it was $38.76 w/shipping. Not bad! Thank you Novs for posting this! Do you know what the break down was between the tail and the shipping? That would help us determine a rough price if we ordered several shipped together. It worked out to $25.73 for the light and $13.03 fo...

Re: Ruckus rear shock on Aero.
Greetings: Good form dictates sharing your sources if more than 1 was available... URLs please? :) Sorry Wheelman, only one available. If I run across any more you will be the first to know though! I also got a lead from the guy on an Aero 125 that needs a cylinder & piston, just waiting...

Re: Ruckus rear shock on Aero.
Went and bought the Ruckus shock last night. Bolted it all together and it looks like it'll have plenty of clearance for when I get my 90/90 tires. It's a Showa Daytona adjustable shock, so the spring only goes about halfway down. It will be nice being able to adjust for conditions! Also happy to ge...

Re: Ruckus rear shock on Aero.
Wheelman, I have another question - do you think the jet that came with my Polini bore kit be rich enough if I run a 70:1 fuel mix? Sorry to change the subject.

Re: Ruckus rear shock on Aero.
Greetings: 90mm divided by 25.4mm/inch = 3.54" wide, which is just about a quarter-inch less clearance on each side than a 3.00 tire. 90/90s are a little shorter than they are wide, at about 3.18" tall, and considerably stiffer than the round profile 3.00 and 3.50s. Yeah, after I thought ...

Re: Ruckus rear shock on Aero.
I ended up buying a OKO nitrogen filled shock. If I can give one word of advise for a replacement shock it would be this. Buy one with the smallest diameter spring. The wider the spring the smaller the rear tire will have to be. I can only fit a 3.0x 10 rear tire because the OKO spring is so wide. ...
