Spree factory body color list. How many are there?

Ok Id like a composite list of the factory spree line. I know there were several through the years. Which are rare (besides the sweet white/green) and what years were they offered? Red-must be the most popular color. Black-also seems super common with the purple trim White-never seen one white/green...

Re: se 50 belt issues, but really found cheap speed!

Then I think youve hit my problem. Both my belts are 1/2". Which is 12.7 mm if i rember right. So I guess its off to Honda Monday morning to order the odd sized factory belt. My original must have been SEVERLY worn. This rises the question why im not over 40 mph with my setup? Id run 35 mph but...

Re: se 50 belt issues, but really found cheap speed!

duely noted. I figured I should achieve 40 without it too but to no avail. Problem is that the original belt did it too. Does this mean that the factory belt is wider than 1/2" and mine was just severly worn?

se 50 belt issues, but really found cheap speed!

Ok, my spree has a 63cc se 50 and vari from vt cycles. I replaced the factory belt with a shorter one a had on the shelf and saw great speed improvment. due to the range of the vari with everything relaxed at idle the overall ratio hadnt changed, but the shorter belt forced a higher ratio on the rea...

Re: best engine swap for a spree

Wheelamn, I am planning on running a small premix in addition to the oil pump and running a little rich to try to keep it together. I checked when I got the doner and my se50 has the 11 to 1 gears :( I would like to swap in taller gears like from a dio but can't find them. Any ideas?

Re: best engine swap for a spree

Im in the process of finishing up swap onto the spree. Theres a recent post in the scooter builds section where i copied the engine mount (not the shock mount though). This swap was an 87 elite (se50) engine onto an 86 spree. It wasnt too tough. I have a bbk and variator on the way. The author of th...

Re: spree big bore kit or elite engine swap?

Ok project update. I rolled over the elite engine and bearings are good and compression felt better than the spree so I decided to give it a shot. I pulled adjustment screws from the spree carb and put them on the se 50 carb ran the idle screw 1.5 turns out and idle speed roughly half way. reinstall...

spree big bore kit or elite engine swap?

So tonight my project spree took a sharp turn down. I cannot get it to start. I had it running once and it ran good but tok forever to get going. I have boiled and jetted the carb, replaced the plug, getting fuel and spark etc. However this is all pretty irrelevant now beacuse I found the crank bear...

Re: spree drill jetting,

Thanks I got it! This is tonights "coffee table project" disassembled and boiling carbs from the spree and the elite. The spree has a factory jet no 65 the elite had an 82. The carb throats are the same so I think ill reuse the spree carb. Pretty sure the 82 jet will be too big for it? Im ...
