Re: the best bore kit

I have a unported polini corsa thats been on my af16 for nearly ten years now, havnt done anything what so ever to maintain it. the top of the piston, the head, and the exhaust port were polished to a mirror finish before i installed it. i really dont know if its the "best" but it's been v...

Re: Is this good or garbage?

iv been running koso fans on all my motors since 2006 and have never had a single problem. all my motors have been no larger then 75cc though, maybe running one on a big stroker or something with a rotor kit would destroy one but not a lightly/moderately built motor. it makes a descent difference in...

Re: af05 to af18 swap?

the way you mounted your motor is the same exact way i mounted my motor on my aero. iv ridden it for at least 3 years now and had no problems with the looseness of the motor because of the dowel pins. just be sure to tighten your shock very well because mine came loose because of the vibration.

Re: opinions on cylinder kit

in my opinion the corsa is the best kit you could possibly buy. its race ported right out of the box and its more or less blot-on performance. the 19mm is fine to use with that kit but if you use a 24mm or 28mm you'll have a lot more power.

Re: shock extender?

hey thanks for the link. i ordered one and while doing so i realized that it will probly make it so that the coils on my shock clear the tire thus allowing me to run a larger tire.

shock extender?

i know they exist. anyone know where can i find one? im having some clearance issues and a shock extender would solve all my problems. if im not mistaken koso makes one but none of the shops here in hawaii have them.

Re: PICS / my Aero 50 on steroids / SA50 Corsa mini-stroker swap

Re: Spree Tires

I might interject some comments on tires, not looking to start a fight. Buying as cheap as you can does not take into consideration safety, handling and ride comfort. Even on a bicycle, tires can make a terrific difference on whether you slide in a turn or are keeping the rubber side down. Weather ...

Re: Spree Tires

the only thing that might limit your front tire size is either the fork or the fender. if the tire is too big it might rub the fender when you use your front brakes or if you hit a huge bump. i think 2.75 in the front and 3.0 in the back is good, thats whats on my aero and i havnt had any problems. ...

Re: 80/90 question

the best tire you could possibly use for street riding is michelin S1. they cost about 45 bucks each here in hawaii but they are well worth the money.
