Re: SE50 Storage options?
Ok I'm taking a shot in the dark here but I figured I'd ask if there were any other storage options for the 87 se50's? I didn't know if the semi-functional cubby holes that are presently there were able to be swapped for a lockable glovebox or something along those lines? I know Canada made the SE ...

Re: Quiz..... Indentify this scooter...
Thankyou all for the responses. I think its safe to say this is a Vento Zip r3i.
Or in Oz, SCP Runna.
Would love if the wheels would fit on a 1987 Elite SE50/DIO.

Re: 87 aero big bore kit
Dude don't do it, the nb50 engine is prown to heat so just ride as is, your aero is worth alot of money. aren't all engines prone to heat? I just installed a big bore on my af05e (same engine) seems to be breaking in quite nicely. With the proper jetting, I'm not sure heat will be a obtrusive probl...

I think you guys might have the same thing, but it is called Cif. As i say, worked really well and non-harmful to ski...

Re: How to achieve the polished rims look???
Yeah a chrome place would be an option, I just wanted to try and tackle it myself first and was just wanting advice.
If it's all too hard for me, I will probably paint them black. (But would prefer chromed/polished

Re: Paint scheme ideas.
I'm at the same stage! ... but will probably stick with retro red/white. If you are going with the satin black, I'd think straight black or gun metal gray to complement it and keep the wheels with the same dark theme. What type of paint/primer are you using and are you using any kind of flex agent ...
