I have have a completely stock Honda Dio SK50. And after around 6 months hibernation I decided to start it. Took a few kicks but started up and idled nicely... so left it ideling for a minute. And then decided to give it a few revs... then stalled out, and this process contined for a while.... just ...

Hi... Looking to restore a 1987 Honda Elite SE50.
And the bike shop wont help me without the correct color code.
It is the Red/black one. (same as in link) The sticker has been removed from my petrol tank.

Hi all. On other Dio, it fires up for a second or 2, only if I spray some flammable spray like carby cleaner in the mouth of the carby. So I know engine and spark are fine. I suspect fuel is not getting to the carby. What should I do and check?

Well, after removing carby, removing jets and cleaning it all, reinstalling it. I thought surely this has to fix it now.... But NO! So I remembered someone said something about exhaust. I had a spare pipe lying around, so I thought it couldn't hurt to try... It's only 2 bolts and 2 nuts. So I replac...

I would clean the carb out with some compressed air and carb cleaner. Also make sure the pilot jet is clean. Then clean the air filter. Do that and tell us if that fixed the problem.
