The top picture is of a Briggs engine with a TAV (CVT). Most of the time mini drag cars are doing Bracket racing an not actually going for top speed. TAV's are super consistent and are adjustable for when the power and how much will come on which is perfect for Bracket racing. The engines these guys...

Re: Airbox for Civic-Minded Hooliganism
If you look up "kart airbox" on ebay you will find a ton of different ones. You woul dhave to figure out the size you are looking for but it should be alot cheaper than the one you just dropped the hammer on. When we used to race 2 smoke kt100 engines we used these to adjust air flow for b...

Minibike vs. KX 250
I know we have talked about this before and alot of people dont believe a single speed, non-varated, clutch and chain minibike can be fast. So my question is do you believe a KX 250 dirt bike is fast, if so this minibike spanks it in the 1/8 mile at 71 mph (sorry didnt get the MPH gun in the video)....

Re: 1988 SB50 sputters high speed
Running super lean? Running into soft seizing after five mins. Cause a soft seize will kinda act similar. Could also be a fuel delivery issue, petcock kinda plugged feeding enough to fill the bowl at Idle but as the demand goes up it can not keep up with the demand so it runs out of fuel dieing. Whi...
