Well Wheelman,
I am very interested in this build, this needs to continue for fabrizi's sake. Hopefully you get more time in the near future.

Re: 2000 Mystic Purple Elite build 74.6 MPH
Thats the fastest I have seen posted on a build that I can remember. Is that on flat ground? I hit 72.3 or so but it was on a serious decline. Thanks for all the details.

Re: 89 elite lx 72cc corsa swap
A quick run when I thought the 130 was too fat, went back to 125. Hit 407 for a second at around 12k+ rpms. Can't just let off the throttle at those temps. It was running killer but lean as can be. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UZKRyaAEQTQ One of it during break in running. https://m.youtube.com/wa...

Re: Moved reed debate.
Neat to hear some opposing ideas. Most people just copy the next guy because it is easy. Democracy is great, freedom to argue the dynamics of these 2 stroke engines is a gift.

Re: Wonder why launch better
Yes sir,
since I switched to the delta I have noticed zero of this on my typical 5 mile errands, I suppose the wing bell also is a big help, more surface area on the wing bell allows for great cooling rates with the fins, clever.

Re: Wonder why launch better
Assuming you are running a stock clutch, I am guessing Clutch fade. When your clutch is cold the springs are stiffer. As they heat up and they start to loosen slightly which allows them to engage earlier than when they are cold. The higher rpm they engage at they more aggressive launch will be, assu...

Re: 2000 Mystic Purple Elite build (70.7 mph)
If you haven't ported your cylinder that pipe won't be good for it. Pipe must match the cylinder. You need high flow. I'm getting the same pipe for my ported fabrizi because it matches the characteristics. The corsa is capable of flowing it but you absolutely must port it and the block. The lazines...
