thank you wheelman.
Problem is.. lets say the temps get to the 400+ point, then i slow down to +- 30 but the temperature does not go down much at least that i stop at a light and the engine idles for a while then i get around 320 again.

Too Hot?
410+ degrees beyond 35MPH with my setup. Wheelman im following your thread on Flash 4.2 because your setup is kind of similar to mine, but you seem to be getting better temps. I am on 45 - 122 jets now. And i feel it kind of gargling in gas and sometimes i get 4 stroking when the engine is warm and ...

Re: How Do You Ship a Scooter ?
Try this.. go to your local junk yards (better) or used car dealers. They buy stuff at auctions online like Copart and sometimes they buy out of state too. I bought the car i own this way, using a friends dealer license at an auction in Georgia, and i am in FL. It cost me $250 to bring the car from ...

Re: engine turns over no spark
Manual is here with what you need to test the ignition. http://www.hondaspree.net/other/Spree_part_a.doc http://www.hondaspree.net/other/Spree_part_b.doc That is the "owners manual"... not a "Service" one... the only electrical section is about checking the fuse. I read on anoth...

Re: Please Help! Will no longer start...
Basic troubleshooting would be 1.check Compression 2. Check spark (done) 3. Check Fuel so you already know you got spark now borrow a compression tester and see if you are within specs. For fuel... clean the line as suggested before.. you can disconnect the line from the carb, put a recipient at the...

Re: swapping gears to 9.8:1
Be careful with a plastic washer in there behind one of the gears, and remember to get a new gasket too for the cover. Take care if you will use a flat screwdriver to help pop the cover off the case, try to not stick it too deep ... just a bit on the edges or you will get a leak later. You will need...

Springs dont fit Clutch

Please check...

Re: Honda dio cdi derestriction
right now i have a 45 and 122. I couldn't get the 50 you suggested yet... but anyway, the engine is kind of groggy from start, at least that i use the throttle gently on the first 1/8 of a turn or somewhere around that. I will disconnect the little hose from the top today... but i need to get anothe...

Re: Honda dio cdi derestriction
ok... i have a plastic hose attached from the bottom of the bowl and makes a loop on top of the carb, then is is free to the open air... is this was a way to deal with the atmospheric pressure and to visually know if there is any gas in the carb? There is also another small hose like seen on this pi...

Re: Honda dio cdi derestriction
GPS'd at 50mph... if i pass half the throttle the engine kind of bogs down ... like if the carb would be extremely big for it.bakaracer wrote:has to be lower than 7k . how fast does the bike go now?
I did not install the clutch springs yet... transmission still sucks.

Re: Honda dio cdi derestriction
Ok i have this: GWO ci588a So do i have a restricted one or not? Thanks if its off of a jdm bike then its restricted. only the US bikes come unrestrictred or a very high rev limit. more than likely if it off your 89 dio af18 bike then its restricted. What does JDM stands for? Japanese....? Yes. min...
