Re: 1997 DIO no power

I have had this issue twice and both times taking the carb off and cleaning it fixed it.

Re: Oil line size?

Should I keep using premix or switch to using just gas and the oil pump? If I am unsure of the oil injection system function, I run a 50-1 premix and top off the oil tank. Then run a couple of tanks of the premix thru the engine. Then if the oil level in the tank has dropped, I drop the pre-mix and...

No Honda dealers near me but the closest one brought my parts to a gas station in town for free.

Oil line size?

What is the oil line size and how much oil would be coming out at idle? I have been running premix because I was unsure if my pump was functioning so today I pulled the line off and got a few drops come out(In like a 1 second span before I put the line back on). Anyway what is the line size(probably...

Re: Question About Gears

Again, thanks for the help. I plan on doing the SB50 intake/reeds/carb, the pulley/belt mod and a 44mm BBK. I would do the 48, but I am more concerned with reliability than I am top end. Might undertake the 48mm one day, but I think I would need to go much further with the intake and exhaust system...

Re: Spree Bogs down with throttle

AIRBOX! Is it in place with a good air filter in it? This is exactly what my 1985 Spree does with the airbox off or even without the air filter element in place. I had that issue with a half hanging off bystarter and a loose * airbox. I fixed both those issues but have no gas to see if it fixed the...
