Thanks Traffic for the info! I have the 18 gauge wire now and have printed off the wiring diagram. Having a bit of a difficult time interperting the diagram. The small black dots on the diagram where the wires run, are those splices? Does anybody have a method of simplyfing the wiring for this layma...

I am going to attempt. Any advice for anyone who has done this? Also, what gauges of wires are needed for it. Is there a list somewhere that shows this? thanks

Am I Working Reverse?
Seeing as though my engine will not stay running, and the electric system is non operating (no sound when button is pressed etc) will the bike ever work as long as the electric system is down? Show I bring that system up first?

Replacing fuel line and vacuum line
Replacing fuel line & vacuum lines. I think I am going to do this. I am running out of options. What materials can this be replaced with? Also, what would one clamp these to the bike with? Thanks

Well I did this procedure and got this fixed, but still no luck with the bike starting lol... I have cleaned the care 8 times now, replaced air filter, replaced spark plug, checked for vacuum leaks, checked condition of fuel line... Still no luck grrr

Thanks so much for the info. Most excellent. So if I buy one of these helicoil inserts at 6 mm I would tap the hole to 6mm? Never done this before. Just checked the two bolts that attach the carb to intakes. The long one is in the back, short one in the front but the short one in the front seems to be stripped as it will not tighten completely. I assume this may be why the engine wont stay started? Is there any way to remedy this at all without...

Tried this. NOthing noticed. It seems if I let it sit for awhile then try to atart it that is the most powerful, longest lasting start, after thant starting is a minimal
