Here's a picture of the valve.... I verified that gas is exiting the vent... which explains why I'm getting 20 miles to the gallon... and lots of gas on the ground

Did you ever find a parts place for your Geely? I have the same engine model (JLIPE40QMB) and my model is 50QT-21. It leaks fuel... at the fuel valve - there's a fuel-in connection, output to carb, and a "vent" line that has a short hose on it with a screw in the hose. Gas seems to be leak...
