it might be a cool way to help people understand where parts are and what they do....

haha. it IS a good idea, regardless of the complications and maybe even because of the complications. i don't expect to not have problems, but i need to choose a scooter that will hold up for the most part and be fixable with limited tools. i'm planning on taking backroads the whole way. highways ar...

can you elaborate? i can get it in the shaft, but only flush with the threading... are you saying twist it 180 once it's in the shaft? i can get it down further, but it requires force... is this normal? at what position should the little metal tube (that holds the throttle cable) be when i reassembl...

Took apart the carb!
So, under the assumption that whatever was wrong with my spree had to do with the carb... i took it off and apart. And now when i put it back together, i cannot figure out how the piston mechanism works... the piston won't go all the way down into the shaft it gets stuck when it's flush with the poi...

Bent Wheel
My wheel (or maybe just my tire) wobbles a bit side to side. Is this a huge concern? It definitely didn't happy until i replaced a tube, so I'm sure it's something I did. If it presents a safety risk, I'll fix it. Otherwise, i don't think it would be worth the time and money. What do you all think?

(what does the throttle do when pulled?) i think the piston you are talking about is stuck up in the shaft... but i put everything back together and tried to start the scooter, and it wouldn't start. did i screw something else...

Throttle Problem
My throttle is stuck. It seems to be a problem with how the wire goes into the carb. I took the carb apart, and didn't figure out how to get the wire out to look at it, and now my scooter wont start. I have an 86 spree. any advice?
