Yo bear what are the advantage of carbon fiber reeds? sorry if im asking dumb stuff im a total noob to mopeds. Im a car and computer nerd but not really up to par on moped Knowledge. I really want to learn all i can though.

bear its running alot better now. I let it sit at idle for a while. About 10 min then i set the idle screw so it would not spin the tire. Then i set the mixture screw to the specs in the manual. and its purring like a kitten now. Its a bit late here on the east coast, but tomorrow i will let you kno...

well i had some success. After i let it soak all day and cleaned it a bit with the guitar string the bike cranks up now. and stays on for longers. but still bogs down. Im gonna clean it more now and post again what happens.

cool thanks alot guys. i was able to get a guitar string in that little hole. I know what you mean about it not being centered. it was hard to see but i was able to get my guitar string in there. I appreciate you both for replaying. but those are the guides i followed. I have thoroughly cleaned the carb. the scooter will not start up at all unless i spray it. i have cleaned the carb about 7 times total. I know its super clean. when i hook the air box up and dont spray it it will only start u...

I cleaned it again. It's super clean. I even took the little tube out. There is light passing threw the little hole. Still will not start unless I spray the carb cleaner in the air intake.

I recently got a 87 spree. I have cleaned out the carb several times. Tested the Petcock seems to be fine, but i cannot get the bike to stay on. It cranks up and stays on for a bit but bogs and dies after a few mins. I have tried messing around with the idle screw and air screw per the instructions ...
