Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Hello,
Can anyone tell me the difference between the Honda Dio motor and Taiwan SYM motor?
I understand that the parts are interchangeable and the DIO is preferred but what is it pros/cons about the SYM motors that do not compare to the Honda DIO. Thanks in advance for the knowledge.

Thanks wheelman. I will see what I need to do. taking the bike into the shop this week. Hopefully they'll be an alternative to replacing the crankshaft. If it does need replacing i will pick that up from you. Thanks for your help.

Hi all, It seems my crankshaft on my SE50 motor is stripped. I replaced the variator and locked the nut back in place. A couple days later I heard a odd sound so I opened up the engine case to find the flywheel was loose and the nut that locks the flywheel in place would not lock, it just kept spinn...
