Re: What rpm are you getting clutch engagement?

right, so clarification is in order. I have a 102cc AF16 that Tru72 built for me quite a few years ago. I am finally getting to a point in my life where I have some free time to tinker and I need to get some of my projects moving. I am using a trailtech Vapor for a dash and it is giving me the reado...

What rpm are you getting clutch engagement?

I have worked some kinks out of my bike and am starting the tuning process. Initial issues I have are a fuel starvation issue, which I’ll address later, and a perceived issue with the clutch engagement. When moving the bike around I noticed that the rpm would jump to ~4500 rpm before the clutch woul...

Re: Anyone have a good pic of a sb50 Japanese tail light arrangement?

I managed to find a video of a guy that had one and it appears that the Japanese Pal had a different luggage rack that went down to the middle bolt post. I think that I am SOL, so ill have to find me a pretty bolt and go on with my life.

Anyone have a good pic of a sb50 Japanese tail light arrangement?

LOOOOONG time no post.... I have finally put my 89 Honda SB50P together after a lot of life and a lot of neglect. I will be posting these soon since tuning is the next thing on the list and I know that I will have way too many noob questions. For now, I wanted to know if anyone had a good picture of...

Re: Bearings, C3 or not?

C3 generally reffers to the ammount of clearance the bearing inner dim play based on the bearing cage and race. A c3 fit bearing is the normal type of bearings on the market. A c5 fit bearing would be very loose and your wheel shaft would move around quite a bit. Different ratings are for different ...

Re: Super charged scooter !!!!

Little food for thought. Assuming 100% VE, your scooter sucks down 49cc per stroke. Each stroke is a power stroke. 8000rpm is your peak power rpm (just assume). 392,000 cm^3/min 13.8 CFM. @ 14.7 psia. This means you need to push 13.8CFM to meet the demand of the engine. http://www.performance-pcs.co...

Re: Project sb50p

What size tire do you have on the front? have you had it rub the front plastics?

Did you have any issues with the cooling fan shroud intake hitting the side plastic?

Looks good, like the headset!

Re: Twin dio possible?

I think it resulted from a change in design that didnt work its way back to the model. I will correct it and finish this up in no time.

Looking for a table mounted vise for my CNC. I gotta go to LA for a few days, so Ill be back at it soon enough.

Re: Twin dio possible?

Long time, no bump! Well I had a chance to install the crank into my engine prototype and I discovered that I haven't made the pocket deep enough. Crank seems to be square with the hole, but I need to check my measurements. http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o210/majourlittle/IMAG0845.jpg http://i12...

I find quite a few of those gy6 calipers, lines and master cyl on eBay for around $50 all day long. I too have been eyeing a new addition to my scoot since the drum brakes are *.
