Sounds like the short answer would be to simply get the correct size head?

Yeah the Head and the piston are both pretty ate up. What should I do about the gaskets? What is the proper way to set them up?

When should i change the gears, and when is a good time to think about a new/aftermarket exhaust? and in doing these things what problems may I encounter or what other things do i need to take into consideration... I.E ... jetting?

Alright so I got the CMR BBK from VTcycles. What kind of stuff do I need to do to break it in? It comes with an 89 jet. Do I need to replace anything else? Well originally I only took the head off and inspected the jug with out removing it, the jug didnt seem to have any noticable scrathing or damage so i figured i was safe as far as rings. I finally jus tok the jug off to make sure and sure enough one of the rings was busted. Thank you guys for all of...

alright guys, i finally decided to just go all out and take the head and jug off. I found that there was a piston ring gone. ugh, any suggestions on repair? do i go BBK, or just replace the rings?

I checked in the crankcase yesterday and everything seemed to be in working order. Would the clutch cause it to not start?martynkim wrote:I suspect something in the drive variator loose clutch gone bad something under the kickcover. I would inspect that and see what it reveals.

I'm looking at getting the POLINI MODIFIED RAMP w/ ROLLERS from DAYWOT over on ebay. i was just curious if its actually worth the price hes asking, at the very least those weights look pretty sweet haha.
