Thanks guys -- I realize now that when you put the throttle valve in -- it shouldn't be hard to do... The line in the back of the valve was a good guide once i shine a flashlight on it...

I just got the Spree running with a entire can of carb cleaner! (thanks Jerry).

Ok.. the only thing is that the back tire is racing out of control... I tried to adjust the speed screw-- but it just kept running fast...

Any Help Here?>

I do have a filter and all the gas has been drained out.

I have a 1984 Spree. Had it worked on last summer -- worked great. I made a huge mistake and did not drain the gas over the summer. New filter, new petcock valve, cleaned carb. I did get it running for a few minutes -- and then bogged out -- couldn't get it started. I cleaned the carb. I can get it ...
