More info to help diagnose. I can jump it with battery cables and it'll run for hours (literally I did it)... so I assume that means the stator works properly. Also the Starter actually works since I can start it with the jumpers. I replaced the Rectifier because it makes the most logical sense but ...

I replaced the rectifier with a tested and working one.... My brand new battery is dead already (about a week) I mean DEAD... cells are shot. 1985 Spree in Positano Yellow
Picked this up this winter and been working on it a bit off and on. I got it running well with a basic tune up but can't get it to take a charge or hold a charge. I think the problem is either the stator or the rectifier. Any info on how to test those with my multimeter would be greatly appreciated....
