I tinkered around alot with it last night. I think I found a leak in the intake and/or crankcase. Plus I cracked the insulator that goes between the carb and intake, so thats a leak. I believe there is a leak because even when I rev it up the RPMs climb very slowly. It is not snappy at all. Probably...

Hey man I have the same high idle problem on my 87 Elite 50. Are you running an air cleaner element? I could get mine to idle at normal speed if I put my hand over the pipe in the intake box to restrict the airflow a little.... I dont have a filter element. Maybe if I had one the flow would be restr...

TESTKING is great for Cisco, I passed 5 exams this summer. Don't know about MS and Testking. I think Microsoft sued them, but they haven't changed all their questions yet.

"restoring" an 87 Honda scooter *pics*

Yeah this bike was unrideable because it was so rusted. I thought it would be rewarding to clean it up a bit. After taking the pieces off and cleaning them up it started to turn into a huge project. I ended up tearing it down all the way, except for opening the crank case, but everything else was op...

Okay I'm gonna have to double check when I get home..... but If I recall correctly my VIN is JH2AF121 and the frams says 1987 on it but the engine has AF05E stamped on it. That would be like an 88 engine on an 87 frame so something doesn't add up here...

Okay I got the pulley and clutch off and am draining the gear case oil. It looks like it will be a hard time breaking the gasket between the cover and the block. And then finding a new gasket. Oh so the belt seems loose but I dont know if its bad or what.... basically you can squeeze it and it touch...
