Re: Malossi MHR or Polini Corsa

I do not know about the malossi aluminum, but the malossi cast bore will take the corsa anyday of the week. I swaped my corsa for a cast malossi running the exact set up. It I had to drop the roller weight and up-jet lots more rpm and no top speed on the new set up!

Re: Dio gear case oil?

Re: Where can I buy a piston?

I have one If it does not pan out. The latter 80's aero pistons will fit perfet but they have a dome head insted of flat top like the 84. two head gaskets could get you the right compression.

Re: stock carb pilot mod WORKS!

I did the rest of the tuning today and it is running perfect. I have the clip at the top Leanest setting and the main jet is drilled out with a bit that will not fit in a oko 120 but will slide it a 125. So I am running a 122 main I would guess with the pilot mod, and clip in the top with a k&n....

stock carb pilot mod WORKS!

I finally got to try my pilot mod. My testing has been with a stock carb and intake with a K&N stile filter and malossi carbon reeds. Matched up to a 47mm Taiwan PG bore on a AF16 I ran the motor in for 30 miles with the pilot jet drilled out to the .50 bit. I could tell it was way rich on the b...

Re: Won't Start, Plugs Dying?

I'v had bad plugs out of the box also, all you can do is go get another and stick it in there. Gap can burn a plug up faster also. But not in 10 miles I would just replace the filter and plug like I said before. Than you can rule out good spark plug and correct amount of air. PLEASE make sure you ha...

Re: 1986 honda aero 50 need help

I am not pushing them I always run NGK except on my aero. Something about that RL87YC is perfect for that engine I know this for sure as I have run them both and like I said My aero has a lot more miles on it than most. Try one out on a un moded Honda It will love that plug.

Re: 1986 honda aero 50 need help

run the champion RL87YC spark plug gapped at .025 My 86 aero has 13,500 miles on it all of witch were run with that# plug! It ran 9995 miles on the stock piston until the ring divider broke. Get a vari for it from VT Cycles it will do 42mph with it. My aero burned 3OZ of oil to a gallon. like 50/45:1

Re: Won't Start, Plugs Dying?

than you have spark against the engine block what are you worried about? Try holding the plug in the same hand you are touching the engine with you should get a nice shock

Re: oko adapter

I DONT KNOW. I came across the same thing It sure looks like it is. I dont think I would run a 26mm threw the stock reedblock. This would be great for the smaller carbs by the look of it.

Re: Won't Start, Plugs Dying?

OIL TANGENT :b2t: Does anyone really think that quicksilver 2T oil, that says it is OK to run in aircooled applications, is causing DKAudio's no spark issue? That plug does not looks fouled to me. DK, Is that plug junk for sure? Will popping in a new plug make the problem go away? I woul...

Re: 98 elite sr budget build questions

I dont know If I would raise the exhaust port. I would look more at the intake ports, look at the castings where the fuel charge moves up, clean It all up and make it flow nice. From the cylinder bace both up and down the sides of the skirt are all good places to clean up. If you want to raise the i...
