Re: Help with de-restricting a honda elites 95

Hello have you checked the exhaust pipe for a washer that restricts the flow? located on the cyl. side. can be drilled or ground out. If you do this or if it was already done you need to rejet the carb. the restricted model uses #68 main jet, the unrestricted uses the #78. Don't drill it out unless...

Hello: Do you have a temp gauge? Having one takes away a little worry about seizing. Then there's no guessing about how hot it is.

treatland.tv/trail-tech-temperature-gau ... -gauge.htm
Also would need the extension 48" extension lead.

Re: Help with de-restricting a honda elites 95

Hello: Not sure you should open up the extra hole. Don't know if the factory unrestricted scooter had the extra hole opened or not. If not you might cause a lean condition by doing so.
eliteguy50 might know.

Cool. just be careful not to hurt the teeth, still think wheelman-111's pliers are the way to go for ease and safety. Congratulations.

Re: Help with de-restricting a honda elites 95

Have not tried that yet. I am still thinking of purchasing one anyway. Do you know if the 1/2in impact is the way to go? I't would work for removal but not a good way for installation. Wheelman-111's vice grip type would be a good way to go, you don't have to remove the flywheel cover to use them. ...
