Re: some problems around the carb

yes the belt will move freely until the roller weights in the variator push on the ramp plate with an increase in rpm. replace the carb mounting rubber and might as well replace cracked caps while your at it. replace the plug just cause there not that expensive and rules that out as a problem. idlin...

Re: Racing Planet-problems?

I have ordered from them a few times. Yes items seem to take forever to get here. Most everything they sell is only stocked over sea's and seems like it must come on a boat. Have never not received anything I ordered. waiting sucks.

Re: New member from France with a 1986 Aero 50

The bystarter body on my 94 elite is a two piece unit. Not sure if yours is or not. If it is you could screw the 2 pieces together to make the piston portion closer to the carb body so when it extends it will actually hit the carb seat portion. Think the wiki has a few specs on the actual distance n...

Re: Arreche carb hard starting

my arreche does the same thing after a few days sitting. But my stock keihin did that as well, but probably took a few days longer to evaporate. The cure is to ride more often.

Re: Installing Head Temp Gauge ?

on occasion mine hits 364. Didn't want to run without the crush washer on the plug so unscrewed it, put the temp wire on then put the washer back. Have not seen any ill effects from this way of doing it. but not out to get every ounce of power from the bbk.
