wonder why kawasaki never entered the scooter market like honda yamaha etc in the 80s and 90s?

theres 3 things that make a motor run ,spark,fuel and compression.either u dont have spark, your not getting fuel from tank to petcock or from petcock to carb or from carb to intake.i was thinking the compression had to be between 75 and 130 but not sure,someone on here will correct me

i was wondering the same thing bear ask because if its not sputtering its prob your coil cutting out.i had a spare to test mine.mine would cut out at 25 or 30 and if u stayed on the gas after 3 or 4 sec it would kick in again.

the big line is ur fuel line one on top of the silver petcock. the bottom smaller line is ur vacuume line.hook the vacuume line to the carb vacuum port and take off the fuel line and crank the motor over .fuel should poor out of the fuel line.if this doesnt happen the petcock is clogged.

i would try the above option first but if that doesnt work look at your coil.it could be breaking down(going bad)my spree was doin this at about 30 mph then got worse and did it at 25 until i put on a new coil.

ok figured out my own problem.the float valve was bad.the spring loaded part shoud only come out about half way and mine was coming out all the way,therefor not letting the valve drop down to let gas into the bowl

picked up a razz the other day,wont run but when i spray mixedgas into the carb it runs,so cleaned the carb real good and still nothing.im getting gas from the petcock but cant get any in the carb bowl.on my spree and aero the float needle moves up and down via the float but on the razz the float ne...

i know that the motors in these 94 model elites are better so ive heard but noone can really say why.does anyone know what makes the 94 motor better than the 93?

does any one know what would make a coil keep going bad on a 85 spree.i have an issue with this bike cutting out at high speeds and its the coil breaking down.ive replaced 2 of these now and it runs great for about a month then starts breaking down again.the last coil i spent 60 bucks on at the hond...

sounds like maybe ur to rich.try moving the c-clip on the throttle valve to a leaner position.movin the clip to the higher position is leaner and lower position is richer.

is there anyway to unrestrict a 1988 elite e.does any one know what they did to make these go 30 mph vs the es that does 35?

i would clean the carb first,not to hard with the manual from above.new plug and clean the air filter.make sure u have fresh gas also.
