Re: Yamaha Vino Variator Grinding Noise

Thank you very much cruzingratiot, I'll get right on it and let you know how it goes. I suppose even with everything as is if I hand crank it over and there's no grind that probably wouldn't be enough to bank on it being the starter gear? Thanks again!

Yamaha Vino Variator Grinding Noise

Hi there everybody, sorry I know this isn't Honda related but I posted in the non-Honda related topic but the last time anyone was there looked to be a while ago, I also posted this same thread there. At any rate; I got myself a 2005 Yamaha Vino 125 from a kid who said it didn't run after installing...

Yamaha Vino Variator Grinding Noise

Hi there everybody, so I got myself a 2005 Yamaha Vino 125 from a kid who said it didn't run after installing a new V-belt on it. After tinkering with it for less than an hour, I got it started. It runs beautifully other than this gross grinding noise coming off the variator side. Now I can't tell i...

Polini Carb VS. OKO Carb

Howdy folks, I'm trying to get some advice here on what would be the best bang for my buck; With a Polini Corsa BBK, would there be any advantages to having a matching 19mm Polini carburetor, or a bigger 28mm OKO carburetor? I'm trying to squeeze the most power/ create the best match for the bigger ...

Howdy there.

Hi there everybody, I have an 86' Spree and I'm in search of a high performance crank shaft. It doesn't even have to be "high performance" necessarily, just something beefier than the stock crank that could hold up to the abuse of a 48mm big bore kit. I was wondering if anyone had some wor...

Oh electrical stuff.

Howdy everybody, I've been restoring what was once a poor neglected 86' Spree that was left for dead in the dump. I salvaged it and rebuilt it from the ground up, I'm a fraction of an inch from firing it up. However, I just redid the wiring harness and when I popped my key in, nothing lit up. I'm ju...
