Re: SA50P Won't start Please Help
I think you should keep the stock #68 main in. Next, would be drill out the exhaust restriction, tie oil pump open, up jet to the #78 main you have, and put about a cap full of oil in a full tank. You should be good to go. 35-37mph+ and it gets there alot quicker.

Re: 1984 Honda 125cc Aero 2 stroke find
My buddy just picked one of these up for $100. I have no idea of its running condition but it is complete. Will post back here once he brings it over for me to work on. What top speed should I look for? Are these really quick out the box?

Looking for a little more speed...
I have 95 and 96 sa50p's all derestricted and up jetted. I am looking for a little more speed without putting on a bore kit. If I get 9.8:1 gears and a kelley vari. will this get me more speed? What should I expect? Also, should I get a new filter or stick with the stock airbox?

Re: Carb/Scooter sputters for first 30 yards?
I got stock setup on a 95 sa50p and 96 sa50p all de-restricted, took plate off vari, drilled out exhaust, drilled out tab in stock air box, tied oil pump open and mix cap full of oil in full tank of gas, #78 main in both. Both do the same thing. They both top out at about 35-37mph. Any bolt ons I co...

Re: Homecoming (Back on an SA50 after a 2 year hiatus)
I would think the cheap one would be fine. It has a one year warranty, what is the warranty on the OEM one? Link isnt working. I am looking for one myself. Oh yea did you remove the restrictor plate off of the vari?

Re: Homecoming (Back on an SA50 after a 2 year hiatus)
Drilling out the tab really isnt much. At the front of the box closest to the carb there is to squares one is open already and one is closed, you just drill a hole through the closed one to get more air going through.
