Re: 87' Aero 50 Issue from a stop
It sounds to me like after you clean everything up and reassemble, then ride for a short time before****it happens****It may be that there's lubrication (grease) getting in and on places where it should not. Honda, at some point in the 1990's, addressed an issue I think, by removing the instruction...

Re: 87' Aero 50 Issue from a stop
Look to the part you changed. The belt. Was it the "correct" size? The belt may have been worn beyond specs and you could have replaced it with a belt that was not the spec belt but an aftermarket "close fit". Where did you get the belt? Which belt is it specifically? Also, I see...

Re: Elite sa50p stalls after big bore kit
Wow! So you can’t give us a pic of the actual pipe? 🍿🎣 That’s ok. What matters here is that you’re telling us the 100 mainjet in a stock carb is still too small?!?! Put whatever size carb you want on it. If there are leaking connections/gaskets then it will still be difficult to tune. If it reveals ...

Re: Elite sa50p stalls after big bore kit
I am tempted to say it's that exhaust pipe connection to the cylinder that's leaking but there's no way for me to tell from here. Then, I could say that the Chinese made exhaust pipe that you spent a hundred bucks for is a poorly designed piece of metal tubing that is wasting your fuel and you shou...

Re: Traffic Light Tactic
Let your city dept of transportation know of your issue. I have seen ads for a metal plate designed to trigger the magnetic strip (if there is one) imbedded in the pavement that tells the light someone (a vehicle) is at the intersection. You would install the plate under your scooter somehow. Make i...

I don’t think so. They are different motors.

Re: Honda elite steering stem. HELP!
If I were you, I would give that front fork on your scooter a good look over to be sure it was in fact damaged and actually needed replacement. Possibly see if you can attribute the problem directly to the fork assembly. The pic I posted is a CH80 / Elite 80 scooter.

Re: Honda elite steering stem. HELP!
You have to make sure of your model scooter. Is it a CH80? That stem only fits one model scooter

Re: Non-modified Spree Top Speed
I've got an 84 Spree restored to factory condition. New piston and rings, original exhaust (cleaned), original final drive gearing, carburetor and airbox. I weigh around 175lbs and it tops out at 25 mph. It is not an Iowa Spree. It starts easily and runs smoothly at idle, mid and wide open throttle...

Re: Build Ideas af16
I am new to the scooter scene and Im looking for the best 72cc setup including the Malossi MHR rep cylinder. Im looking for 60+ and seeing what you guys think i should pick up You can achieve that 60 mph+ without an MHR rep kit. The MHR is an aluminum bore which was only designed for fairly short-t...

Re: Malossi or SEF ramp plate
I really need an SEF ramp, anyone know where to get one, or has one they would part with? For AF16 of course. Check with Steve at <vtcycles@gmail.com> Already did, he is out of them -- in order to get more, he needs to place an order for 1500 parts. He isn't sure if he is going to do that. wow. Wel...
