Re: How much is A 87 Honda se worth in good condition?
Like Wheelman-111 said. Don't think honda made that model in '87. I would check those serial numbers for sure. Looks 95 or 96'ish.Look underneath the bottom of the floor deck, should be a white sticker with info on model/ year. Nice looking ride though. Happy Trails! :) EDIT: sorry, I was confused b...

Re: ran good then cut off now wont start
Iceman, you might have to reset the idle adjustment again and air/fuel screw. Check the needle clip if you haven't already but that is mostly for mid to top end range. Be sure all passages are clean! Do not over oil, only 32:1 is necessary. You may have fouled the plug by the way. Run about 8 or 10 ...

Try this one http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/43/ ... -Separator and save the mallet for the light stuff. Yes, I've used a mallet too.

Didn't think of that. Thanks Wheelman.
Wow, that's a lot of dough for that pipe. Guess I'll be sticking to the PG for a while.

Re: 89 Elite R - my first build
Congrats on the first start up and thanks for the vid! I was looking at the pics you posted of the "chaos" and ,I could be incorrect but, is the exhaust pipe aligned with the exhaust port correctly? It is possible that that could be your problem, or part of it. I know I've done it myself a...

Re: Super Dio ZX AF28 and other Dio scooters
This took 16 days to get to my door from the moment I ordered it from WeBike Japan. Wind Jammers for the AF18-E motor (...and easily used on an AF16 motor too) http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7023/6585571949_73e07c07ee_o.png Chamber volume appears slightly bigger than my Arrow pipe. Did you sell that...

Re: Air Filter for '87 SE50 Elite
The problem with that saying is that your air filter (aka filter element) may be broke and you don't know because you haven't taken off the cover to look. Sometimes it doesn't even crumble, it just turns into a goo and makes a mess of the intake. Lean conditions can even cause serious engine damage...

Re: 66cc bbk. which gears would be best for me to get
Try email to Steve here: http://www.vtcycles.com/ I bought 9:1's and 10:1's for $50 each +a few $ shipping. He is fast once order is received. Another source is tazland001 I think he's only got 8.44:1 right now. Daywot has most ratios also. I have bought from all of these w/good service and price.

Re: 66cc bbk. which gears would be best for me to get
Why go to the trouble of the BBK and gears without modding the rest of the drive system? I found much better performance using a heavier torque spring and comparable clutch springs to help transfer the power to the wheel. Also, a better help than that was the polini (or other aftermarket) variator/f...

Re: SA50 Elite gear case problem?
isn't there a total of 4 bearings? Thanks for reading dun rite. Yes. Up until somewhere in 1998 Honda changed it to 3, eliminating the final shaft bearing in the cover. As a result, the final shaft has a larger diameter end where the bearing used to be and it is fitted with a thrust washer. The cut...

Re: AF16 mods
Thanks Taz, got the gears today and will have them (it) pressed on tomorrow by a friend at a machine shop. First, I have to change out the bearings (just one) inside the gear case and I'm good to go. Nice of me to have an extra set around if I need them, yup. Also must de-polish the interior of the ...

Re: SA50 Elite gear case problem?
Another question; Would it seem reasonable to replace all the bearings even though, by feel, they seem to be good? Of course, the spun bearing replace, but the other two are in reasonably good condition in my own opinion. Just a question to anyone who might have experienced this before. I am going t...
