Re: Final Drive Cover Gasket

Hey guys, I’m looking to change the drive belt on my 1988 Elite. I can’t seem to find anyone that sells the gasket for the drive cover. I know their is interchangeably with other parts from different scooters, so I’m hoping I can find one from another model that will work. Does anyone know if there...

Re: 1988 Elite Carburetor Gaskets and Fuel Petcock

Bowl gasket is same as nq50. O-ring is reusable if it’s not hard as a rock. Read up on the suggested material and use a good, oiled air filter. No air leaks is desired.

Re: 1985 or 1986 honda nb50g previous owner put motor oil in oil receptical...not 2 stroke oil.

There is a help section in this forum, it has service manuals and how-to's plus other information http://hondaspree.net/wiki/index.php5?title=Main_Page I would say yes, purge entire oil line/pump all the way to the intake manifold and prime the oil pump and entire line to the manifold with 2 stroke ...

Re: Want to swap my spree with a 94 elite

The search feature is available for info on your questions. Upper righthand corner-type in youe search word and just read thru some of the posts, there are thousands of them. I personally do not have experience with the spree swap. Welcome and good hunting! :urban:

Re: 1989 Honda Elite 50 BoreKit

The af17 in the vin indicates the sb50/elite e /pal.
Contact Taz on eBay. Google “chopchop*123 on ebay”. He sells the 48mm bbk for the spree which I believe is the same motor
The other way to get more power is to swap in a dio motor! Actually an elite af16 motor.

Re: 1989 Honda Elite 50 BoreKit

Would need more info about which model scooter.
Example: SA50 = AF05 “elite” motor
SB50 = AF05 “spree” motor
Both models were made in 1989
Either one is completely different from the other.

Greetings:

Fabrizi is another good choice, and mine at least was faster than the Corsa I had previously. 49mm slug and 78ccs, high-RPM port timing too. More torque than the Corsa down low.
Where might one find a Fabrizi bbk? Have not seen any for sale for a long time.

Re: Just another AF16 Spree Swap

It depends on the weight of the clutch shoes. If you have an older (88-93) stock clutch then, the shoes are probably very heavy so you would need a stronger spring. The 94-97 motors (af16) had lighter clutch shoes, and the 97-01 motors were even lighter and would take an even lesser strength weight ...
