Re: Can someone recommend some aftermarket mirrors for Honda Spree

Upgrade is a broad term. Yes, 8mm thread or you need adapters. You get what you pay for with aftermarket parts. Google "scooter parts" and the world is yours.

Re: Just another AF16 Spree Swap

Nice work! I just hope the caliper clears the rim of the wheel..... If you find that the ncy legs are still not short enough, you can use a dio zx (af28 or af35) stem. It is same as the metro stem except the lower tree is kinda upside down....making the wheel ride closer up to the frame by an inch a...

Re: Just another AF16 Spree Swap

:thumbwink: Some aftermarket rotors/forks require some clearance grinding of the fork body. Especially a floating-type rotor. I have personally had to do minimal clearance grinding on oem style forks for a rotor to fit correctly and have not had any adverse consequences. Even with the ruckus stem yo...

Re: Just another AF16 Spree Swap

Dry fitting the parts tonight… I found out a metro stem is too narrow for a NCY front wheel so I am going to give the NCY stem a try. It is right in between the Metro and Ruckus, this is what I found. All measurements are center to center on the legs. Metro 5-1/16” NCY Elite 6-1/4” Ruckus 7-1/8” :s...

That’s trashed. Pilot tube looks clogged and busted off. Good luck on that!

Re: Crankcase Drain Hole

He’s talking about the gear case oil which I assume he measured the 3oz. of 30w oil into.
I don’t understand how the gear case could become hot just at idle for 5 min.? 🤔

Re: Aero 80 revived, but now another problem ...

You must be sure the air/fuel adjustment screw and all related idle circuit passageways are clean and clear. Do this by first viewing a carburetor exploded-view diagram to be able to account for all the individual parts in the circuit and second by using a “carburetor spray cleaner” to verify said c...

Re: 1989 Honda Elite E

The elite e is basically a spree motor on a different frame/body. It does not have a cable going to the oil pump to control it. My understanding is that most of these 50cc hondas will leak some oil into the motor/carburetor when sitting for an extended period of time.

Re: Aero 80 revived, but now another problem ...

There should also be a filter in the fuel line if not then it’s inside the tank just above the valve. Pull it out to clean it but if you ordered a new valve from a Honda dealer it should come with a new one. The vacuum valve will only pull fuel when vacuum is applied. Or could be leak in the vac lin...
