Re: sputter/stall

Re: sputter/stall
I'm not sure exactly if all you did was open the exhaust and not the air filter as well. Did all the happen after you drilled out the exhaust. the air, fuel & exhaust flow in and out of the engine is designed to a balance by honda, by opening one and not the other would say that it is now out o...

Re: sputter/stall
try to keep your posts in one spot. just replied to this in your other post, although it didn't explain it as well as this one. sounds like the main jet is dirty or to small due to the exhaust derestriction. You are doing all this with the airbox and filter in place? yeah the airbox is attatched do...

Ok so i just fixed a vacuum leak on the bottom of the intake mani where it meets the other gasket for the reeds. I had it running all the way lean before this to accomodate for the vacuum leak, but now it wont run that way because it is fixed. However, i put the carburetor back to stock settings, th...

SA50 Stock Carburetor Settings/Adjustments?
I have a 2000 Honda Elite S. It has the AF16E engine, and i just fixed a vacuum leak. the problem is that i need the stock carburetor adjustments/setting because it is tuned to run with the vacuum leak right now, and i cant seem to get the carburetor right.
