Re: Elite 80 CH80 Project?
The ch80's are not for everyone, especially if you are used to the snappy acceleration of a two stroke or small sport bike. With that said, after owning mine for 5 years and roughly 12000 miles now, I'm still in love. The spaceship styling quickly grew on me after the first year, and the overall siz...

Re: Seeking better rear rim/wheel/tire combo for Elite E
Spree rims are very abundant and I'm sure multiple members on here have one available for less than $100.
All the info you need has been stated already. Forget the Chinese wheels, unless you want to just find out the hard way.
Is it possible you are installing the tube incorrectly??

Re: can anyone recommend a better rear rim/wheel/tire combo
An elite E engine is basically the same as the spree. Either spree or another elite E rear wheel is what you want for oem fitment. 1.5"x10" I believe.

Re: big bore installation
I fully agree with wheelman, however there may be a couple exceptions depending on what engine and bore kit. My polini bore on my variated AF05 calls to use the oem head.

I think it's 4x140 if all the fsn circles were made the same. Love these wheels!

Re: Spree bogs/cuts out when fully throttled from stop
Tested for ac voltage a found some. Also I bench tested this bystarter before installation and the needle moved as it should. I would've vac tested the bystarter port like pat said, but I don't have an ear syringe or anything similar. I then swapped the needle(76P) out for the one in my 86(5SB), and...

Re: Spree bogs/cuts out when fully throttled from stop
Thanks guys. Double checked airbox and everything was SAT. Then checked the by starter for 12v while idling- UNSAT. No voltage at all. Is the bystarter wired directly through the ign? I'll check the schematics on my break, but if someone's already knows, please share.

Re: Spree bogs/cuts out when fully throttled from stop
Is the stock air filter housing in place ? Did anyone drill holes in the housing ? Is the rubber elbow fitting correctly ? Is the filter in place ? Is the filter lid in place and the screw in place ? Is there a gasket between the air filter lid and the air filter housing ? I have resurrected over t...

Spree bogs/cuts out when fully throttled from stop
Hi guys. I'm putting a spree together out of all the extra spree parts I had laying around. It's an 86 spree with an 84 engine. When the engine was in the 84 last summer, it ran great and at a consistent 27mph, but I couldn't get the idle perfect. Now that I've swapped the 84 engine into the 86 I'm ...

Re: Honda elite 80cc
Put the center stand on a block of wood and remove the upper rear shock from the frame mount. The extra clearance when the engine hangs lower makes getting to the two inner nuts less of a hassle. I don't recall removing the exhaust and rear wheel, but it'll definitely free up some space. Make sure y...

Re: 86 spree w/ 85 nb50 swap. throttle sticks on startup
Any results on this issue. Having a similar issue now. Swapped an 84 spree engine into an 86. Revved like crazy on start up. Swapped the 84 needle assembly to the 86( noticed the needles are different diameters) and no help. When riding while holding the brakes I can crack the throttle a notice a di...
