Sounds like you read it upside down to me sir. I don't believe an 89 jet is made for that carb. 78 is what you want if you are just de-restricting.

You don't deserve an oem lens after all that nb50 disrespect... Just playing;). To each their own, but from certain angles I absolutely love the oem blinkers. Aftermarket are doable of course, but most will require custom fitting. I don't know of any that will bolt on in any existing area of an nb50.

Take a peek under the cvt cover. If it's in fact cvt I'd say express 2 or sr. If it's chain It should be early express nc50.

Does the jasil crank have the same stroke as the stocker? This is the first I've heard of this crank.

He will definitely take care of you. Give it time. It is possible to run the pump and a mild premix but full premix is definitely the way to go if you're going with a bore kit.
