Re: BBK Tuning Help
So just for anyone else who is tuning the same set-up...today I installed 5.5 gram rollers which actually weighed 36 grams instead of the 33 grams they should have been. Low end was amazing and some how my top end crept up 59.1mph which is 3mph above where I was with 42 grams. So right now im pretty...

Re: BBK Tuning Help
So it turns out that the 24mm PWK has a 105 main, I dropped down to a 102 and it bogged more at full throttle, I actually went up to a 108 and no more bog, that will probably lower my temps as well! Just ordered new rollers from G9 today as well, hopefully those will help too.

Re: salvagable technique, question
I did the same thing as you, polished it up super nice, looked perfect...but it ate a malossi kevlar belt in about 100 miles. After that I just bought a new drive face from Honda, I think it was only about $30.

Re: BBK Tuning Help
Malossi 2 shoe? Are you sure you're using a polini cp style or pwk style? Stock the pwk comes with a 35 pilot and 100. I think the cp comes with 32 and 105. I forget. Either way the jets style are different between the two. How's the plug chops looking? Sorry, couple mistakes, I corrected them up t...

Re: Polini Contessa BBK for 2000 Dio questions
I opened up the second airbox tab with the stock carb and it ran great! Use a knife or drill or whatever you have to pop it out.DeanP wrote:I'm leaning towards the Malossi now with a 90ish main jet.
Would I have to open up my airbox a bit, IE: drill some extra openings??

Re: Polini Contessa BBK for 2000 Dio questions
So I just stumbled upon another Canadian owner who was in the same spot as me. Here's his post: http://hondaspree.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=28820 Anyways, there was talk about the Malossi bbk, so maybe that's an option. He was asking about jets for his carb, but looks like he never got an ...

Re: 1994 Elite...time for big bore? Help me out!
Yes I have a temp garage and am keeping it in a good range. I am guessing a bigger carb could keep the temp lower though.

Re: 1994 Elite...time for big bore? Help me out!
Yes I am done breaking it in. My top speed right now is 54.9 mph with stock pipe and carb. The only thing I have done since the mods in my last posts is a yellow malossi spring and Kevlar belt. The scooter rips but I'm still looking for a little more low end. I am thinking a carb and pipe are in my ...

Re: Belt loose, belt issues?
Everything is working great now but I think I want to service my driven face with a new spring and new grease. What Malossi spring should I get to replace the stock spring? The red or the yellow one? What is the difference between the two?

Re: Belt loose, belt issues?
I'm using the stock boss, the aftermarket boss was too long.
