1985 Spree AF16
I started the build a few weeks ago. Modified and shortened the Elite S engine mount so the engine didn't sit so far back on the Spree. I have a few things to finish up but took it for a ride this morning. The speedo showed about 40mph top end. I'm not a fan of this air cleaner but couldn't find any...

Re: I'm Back: 2000 Elite S Project
This weekend I got my order of random hardware for missing airbox, shoud, and carb parts. I also got the jets needed. 78, 80, 85, and 88. Couldn't find any 82 jets :( Today I installed the #80 and wow it runs like a million bucks! While I was waiting for parts this weekend I got bored so I picked up...

Re: pg long pipe verse short pipe question
I'm trying to figure these pipes out. As far as I understand tuning 2 stroke pedal mopeds, a longer pipe equates to a later signal and the shorter equates to an earlier signal. What I mean by the signal is the time it takes for the sound wave to bounce back to the exhaust port. Therefore a later sig...

I'm Back: 2000 Elite S Project
Hello everybody. Its been awhile since I've been on here. Owned an 89 Elite E a few years back. Yesterday I picked up this Elite. I've been itching to get back into the 2t scooter game. I spent the last few years building old petal mopeds. Mainly a Honda Hobbit and a few Puch's. I can share pics if ...

Re: Anybody ever heard of this stuff?
I have been running amsoil 100/1 on all of my 2 stroke toys for years. It makes for easy starting, even after sitting a long time. And it also burns very clean, no smelly clothes after using it. I have never had any engine problems running this either.
