Re: Need help! Crank removal

Thanks everybody, my steering wheel pullers doesn't look like it will do the job on the tranny side so I might have to modify it. Thanks for the bearing separator tool info as well, that would be my next question. :worship:

Re: 1987 SE50P --- No Idea What To Do!

I looked thru wiki but couldn't find anything on the crank. I guess I'll be ordering one of those tusk tools for reassembly.

Re: 1987 SE50P --- No Idea What To Do!

Thanks! I just split the case. How do I get the crank out? (hit it with a hammer???) I'm guessing its pressed on the tranny side bearing. While its apart should I get new bearings?

Thanks!

Re: 1987 SE50P --- No Idea What To Do!

Thanks, right now im working on removing the flywheel. Its stuck pretty good. I will be splitting the cases to check for debris. I wont be removing much from the ports, just enough to smooth em out. What dremel bit should i use?

Thanks much!

Re: 1987 SE50P --- No Idea What To Do!

Thanks much! I have a few updates, stripped er' down to the frame and started disassembly of the engine. I have decided to keep it bare framed with just pegs or something for my feet, time will tell. I have to find a new front fork. As of now I guess I'm just planning on taking the engine completely...
