Re: 1987 SE50P --- No Idea What To Do!
Thanks, I am going to check out that Mallossi cylinder and that carb. Redeft's website seems to be down? Does he have a contact on this forum? I tore the elite plastics off today and I really like the look of the bare frame. I might just do a bare bones build. Does anybody know if there are any fron...

Re: "Officially I'm Broke"
All I can say is... wow! Do you know what happened to the zuma engine? As I was reading this whole thread I thought how cool that engine would be on my Yamaha C3!

Re: 1987 SE50P --- No Idea What To Do!
Thanks sanjuro, I'll stay away from the gy6 then. I am aiming for a minimum of 50 mph so I can hit some of the nicer roads around here. I will look into the mallossi kit. Will I need a different carb with the mallossi kit? What part number should I look for in a dio engine? sorry for all the questio...

Re: 1987 SE50P --- No Idea What To Do!
Well I just took the head and cylinder off, the rings crumbled into the engine. Ugh! The cylinder does have one deep score on it. I did a little reading, but what are everybody's opinions on those gy6's?

1987 SE50P --- No Idea What To Do!
Hello all, I just picked this up off craigslist for $100. It needs a jug and rings. I will be stripping the plastics and keeping it naked. The stock AF05E is being gone thru and will get a bbk. http://i1263.photobucket.com/albums/ii628/laplantebd/Elite%20project/5Ke5Fe5Hf3E83I83Jcc6339e0c28e279c1d3a...
