Re: 21mm OKO Carb Issues on '84 Spree

Is it the original engine? If so that carb is way too big. You’ll need to find a smaller one.

Re: Top end replacements/alternatives/upgrades - 2001 Elite 50 SR

I would suggest a mild 70cc kit. You can run a cheaper Malossi with stock carb and exhaust. My last elite has the Malossi 70cc cast cylinder, 9:1 gears, and polini variator. Stock carb with stock intake and exhaust and I had no problems getting up to 60mph. I’d start with opening up the cvt and chec...

Yeah find an elite or equivalent. I put an SA50 in a Spree and it was super sketchy. I won’t do that again.

Re: Why can't I find a MLM Spree exhaust?

MLM makes a great exhaust. I’ve owned more than a few and was happy with how they performed. Even on stock bikes they give a bit more pep.

Re: Replacement Carburetor Question

Is it for oil injection?

I would recommend if you have the stock carbs to rebuild those and reinstall. Promise they’ll give you less headaches.

Re: New Carb

99% of the time it’s worth cleaning out the stock carb or finding an OEM used replacement. Most aftermarket clone carbs aren’t made to the same standards and will never let the bike run properly.

Re: ****Official Non-Honda Picture Post****

Razz #2 nearly complete. I got this and the pink one posted above from my wife’s grandparents a few years back. Both had tight engines, locked up wheels, and mice eaten wiring. This one I wanted to keep stock and finally found a suitable “donor”. It runs perfect and titled. I’m simply swapping plast...

Re: 1998 Elite SA50P Valve Adjustment

The owners manual will have info on service intervals. The service manual will run you thru it. By valves I’m assuming you mean replacing reed valves since were talking about a 2 stroke motor.
