Re: 1987 Spree Decal Dimensions
Yeah the eyeball thing won't quite work on this one. I trust my eyes more than a ruler most of the time but not in this case.

1987 Spree Decal Dimensions
Hello everyone. I have an odd question. I am in the process of recreating the decals for a 1987 model Spree. Unfortunately, my little ladies, 3 and 5 respectively decided to use my note sheet for their latest abstract art piece rendering my written dimensions useless. So, can anyone relay the actual...

Re: Needed: Spree Special Edition front fender photo
Just wanted to give an update on the stickers. I have exhausted all my local options as far as matching the original colors. Not even close. No one has reproduced the turquoise color anywhere close to my satisfaction. That being said, I will not have any new stickers until I have found someone who ...

Re: Needed: Spree Special Edition front fender photo
Funny I actually found this same photo via search. Problem is it's not large enough. I have to redraw the "Special" text and I'd like to zoom in further to get it right. Do you have a higher resolution version of this photo?

Needed: Spree Special Edition front fender photo
I have to create a replica decal for a Special Edition Spree. Can someone post a good photo of the front fender decal focusing on the "Special" word primarily? I have the rest but the word on my fender is messed up.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: 1984 Honda Spree Restoration
Spotless. How'd you get the black plastic trim pieces looking like new? Clean them GENTLY using Dawn and Scotch Brite pads. This removes all the grease, oil, etc while also giving the pieces a bit of "tooth" for the paint to stick. Then choose your plastic paint from Krylon. The Satin fin...

Re: It's been a while. Something different - 1984 Honda Gyro
I don't recall what he paid for the Gyro initially. Between the parts, sticker recreation/production and labor the resto work was over $1400 if I remember correctly.jcivince wrote:If you don't mine me asking, how much was it (Gyro + restore)?

1984 Honda Spree Restoration
How's it going everyone? I'm only able to check in on rare occasion but I like to share projects with the Spree crowd when I have something worthwhile. Long story short... California customer contacts me to redo a Spree > Buys Spree on eBay > Ships to me in PA > Shipping out to L.A. as soon as I can...

Re: Knobby tires for spree
I used some Michelin's for a scoot I put together a couple years ago. Initially there was slight rubbing on the sides of the tires from the knobbies. The knobbies would hit the forks and the rear mud guard. Not a big rub at all. I bought the Michelin's because I liked the style the best. The tires a...

Re: It's been a while. Something different - 1984 Honda Gyro
Greetings: Drip-drip-drip. The sound of Honda-san's tears of joy falling softly in the ground below his grave. Awesomely-tidy restoration! Put it in a museum? I don't think this one will be museum bound. The owner uses all of his scoots with his kids riding around the neighborhood. It would be a pr...
