one month after receiving the moped back from the shop with a 'new' belt
said belt disintegrates while you're 10 miles away from home without a spare o.O :*:
I have retaken the practice of riding with a complete emergency set including spare belt.

Re: Daelim Cordi front rim replacement?
Thanks paulpauly7 but the vibe specs say that it has 12" wheels, I was looking for 10".
I wonder... how weird that would be ... 12" front, 10" rear
and the handling characteristics of having such a setup...

Re: Anybody got a citrus tree in their yard???
nice. congrats on your new hobby :) I think it's always worthwhile to dabble into something that will help feed u. My new hobby last year was aquaponics (in simple terms, using fish water from fish tank to fertilize and water plants in grow beds filled with rocks--or other stuff; I'm using cinder).....

None of the current Kymco USA models will fit (unless I go the drum route).

I have a lime tree in a community garden plot but it may be younger than yours swimmingfree, and it, alas, hasn't bore any fruit yet either.

Re: Holes are for what?
I had the same two holes on a panel that I had, and they looked to be from the factory. I just couldn't figure out the weird spacing, perhaps they actually ran the same panels for different engine/carb combinations in different market areas would be my guess. Since you're already doing bondo work on...

Re: Daelim Cordi front rim replacement?
I'd rather not go back to drum. lol. For right now the shake/ shimmy from the warped rim isn't that bad, it's more noticeable with the higher speeds. Low speed runs (30 mph and below) it's hardly there. It's just a bit disconcerting when you're not used to it and definitely when it shows up when on ...

Re: Holes are for what?
I would venture to guess that these were for making adjustments to the stock carburetor without having to take off the side panel. I had an 89 too but the engine was upgraded (to an Elite S). Your panel looks great, your hard work is starting to show!

Daelim Cordi front rim replacement?
I wasn't sure of where to post this, so it ended up here since technically it's not an official Honda but a clone. I now have a Daelim Cordi that shakes from the front rim being bent. Moped looks to have been laid down at one point since tell tale signs of scratched plastics and a seat tear is visib...
