Re: Mixed Roller Weights ?
My weights both stock and ones that were in it have a flat metal side on one end and a side that is slightly indented a little on the other.. Not sure if they go in flat side to the right or left when I'm holding the variator ? Any one with any thoughts ??

Mixed Roller Weights ?
Are there any merits to mixing roller weights ? I have a new stock set for my Aero 50 and a little heavier set that are in good shape. I've seemed to have loss some pick-up and top end with the stock set... Will mixing them give the best of both worlds ? I've read that they need to be mixed 3 and 3....

3.00-10 tire verses a 90/90-10 tire
Just how different are these two tires ?? The 90/90-10 tire is about 20% less cost wise... I thought the 90/90-10 was a bigger tire then the 3.00-10...Is the 90/90-10 shorter but fatter ?? Please help because I am still confused or should I just order two 3.00-10's for my Aero 50....

Tire Explanation
Can anyone explain to me the difference with a 2.75-10 tire and a 80/90-10 and a 3.00-10 and a 90/90-10 tire ? How do the tires spec out differently... I'm hoping to put the 80/90-10 and the 90/90-10 on my 87 Honda Aero 50 .. Don't want to make a mistake by getting too big of a tire.

Re: 87 Aero 50 tires
Tks for the info...I guess I'm kind of old school about tire sizing....I understand 2.75-10 and 3.00-10 sizes...I'm still trying to grasp the 80/90-10 and 90/90-10 concept.... Side by side how do these tires compare ?.. Is there a simple way to explain this ?? My scooter runs tubes, so can I run tub...

Oil leak and Re-Jetting Carb 1987 Aero 50
Tks for the tip about fixing oil leak on my Honda Aero 50.. good call it was the hose so a $.89 clamp fixed that issue...ordered up a jet to match 65 cc kit...however Honda dealer could only get a 86 which is a slight up from the 82 but it is not a 90 as previously recommended....I ordered the 86 an...

Well I have started to wrench on the Honda Aero that I bought....Good shape fresh big bore kit...runs strong...But after sitting in my garage for a week there is a small puddle of oil.....I've degreased the pump area and to the best of my knowledge looks like it is coming for the bottom of the pump ...

Sorry for the lingo but yes I meant expensive by the word prime....I'm going to try out this weekend...hoping it runs as well as it looks...He claims it does...I figure it can't be too rough if it is only showing 2000 miles..Not sure what type of 65 cc kit was used...Still not sure about the colour ...

Newbie 1987 Honda Aero 50 in my sights
Going to check out a Honda Aero 50 this week....from the pictures it seems to be in good shape plastics and is only sporting 3600 kms... It just has gone through a top end rebuild piston, cylinder head and crank 65cc... Supposedly the young fellow ran it dry of oil and pow/boom as they say....Is the...
