When you do the front pully mod you increasing the size of the front pulley, the stock belt automatically spreads the rear pulley some to compensate. This causes a severe a gearing problem in the 0-10 mph range. Your Spree will be real slow off the line. So increasing the belt size 1" corrected...

every little thing helps.

the theory is the more air and fuel you can cram into the cylinder the bigger the explosion = more power.

yes you will notice a differance once you get it tuned right.

good luck

that piston might work for the spree as well. do the 87 - 92 elite have the same bore and stroke as the spree? I know the wrist pin is the same (10mm).

Any ways, you would need to find a 45mm piston to make the spree a 60cc :)

Dosn't matter any more to me. The Leo Vince set I got cost me $15.00 CAD. No shipping because they came from my local scooter shop. Well maybe it costed me a few dollers in gas to get there and back 8)

just a thought and i'm not saying this will solve your problum but, is your battery fully charged? even if it is turning over try giving it a boost. my spree wont start unless i have a strong charge in the battery.

just a thought.

I just used a long 1/4" drill bit and made fore holes in the back and drilled out as much of the baffels as I could.

pipe is on hold for the moment. Spree is going in for a port and polish and maybe a new 60cc jcc piston. Then with the new port specs the pipe will be designed around.

or measure the outside diameter of the carb(where the rubber pipe attaches to the carb) intake. go to an aftermarket autoparts supplyer that sells K&N filters and get them to order you one that will fit over the the intake that you just measured. they look like miniture cone filters that you see...

I would say 35-40 mph. Air filter is not "bad" for the spree. You just have to do a little tuneing. Mess around with jet size thats all.

So I finished putting in the new clutch springs to day and went for a ride. I got a package of 9 springs. Three different sets. Made by Leo Vince. These are made for the Motori Piaggio . I used the red (midium) ones to start with. This has made a big improvement on how the spree takes off from a sto...
