yah, about 1" smaller in diameter. with the stock belt you will have to push it to get it to move off the line. it just slips too much. but try it and see for your self.

after you mod the pully you have to use washers to keep everything elined.

I founds a guy who will custom make me a pipe. He can build it for what ever I like ie: low end, mid range, or top speed. Way better then me trying to jerry rig somethig that might work.

Rear suspension

My rear shock I think has just about had it. I don't want to just replace it with a used one. I'd like to get something more sport oreanted maybe even adjustable, but I dont want to spend like $500.00 to get it.
Where would be a good place to get a aftermarket shock without spending a fortune?

ok, I just got back from honda and found out a lot of information. I con get sprins and roller weights from them cheeper than from CT Cycles. I say cheeper because A: they cost about $10.00 CAD. B: I dont have to pay shipping. I also can cet a costum expansion chamber made for the Spree for about $1...

you can get them from your local honda bike dealer. they are specific to the carb in the spree. they cost about $5.00 CAD. I forget to mention that I have also drilled out the baffels in the exhaust pipe. this allows the bike to breath better. there are instructions on how to do all this stuff on th...

so if i picked up one of those $20.00 pocket bike expansion chambers off ebay. Chopped it and welded it to the Spree down pipe. This should give mr some power gains?? I wonder what i should expext to gain from this...Low end torque?...better mid range??....higher top speed???....hummm.

Yes you have to change the main jet. I use a K&N cone filter on my Spree. I first went to a #70 and that worked well. Allthough after smoothing out the intake I had to go to a #80. I tried a #75 but it wasn't enough.

so thay make stiffer springs for the aero? i'm going to do a little research on this thing called the internet but i figured id ask here first! thaks for all your help. this makes me very happy! :) I'll keep you posted on what I find and what becomes of my findings!

so the question now becomes........ can you get stiffer clutch springs for the spree. or what other scooters have the same clutvh set up as the spree so i can maby do a cross referance.

would different clutch springs allow the engine to rev higher befor the clutch engages??if so this would greatly help full stop take offs while not affecting top speed. this has to be my biggest pet peve with my spree. i absolutly hat how when i go to leave at a stop light the spree just sits there ...
