Yes I used the AF16 are you ntalking about the washer between the exhaust pipe and where it attaches to the motor, because that was off and i gained about 8 mph on top end, but i was leaking about 40% exhaust out of the front.

Your starving the engine by running it lean. Put a stock filter box back on I dont think the stock spree one will fit now, and I only have half of the stock Elite airbox, no filter and no cover, other filters i see appear to be the same as my K&N. why would this be restricting air, shouldnt it ...

Greetings: Bear misrepresented me. I would never say "Dude! Swap in a Dio!!" to someone who already had one. :) Where did you get the idea that an Elite SA50P was a Spree? The "P" just means the restricted model sold as the Elite S. It's not the much smaller, Spree-derived Elite...

Also I had to swap out the rear break cable, the spree cable was not long enough, so i had to take one off an elite. The rear wheel well needs to be cut a little bit to clear the tire. now im wondering what i should do next. I need to address the air filter issue, what do you guys recommend this wil...

The se 50 mount requires cutting only

the af16 mount requires a cut and a reweld to the stopper

I actually used the AF16 mount and did not have to reweld anything. a few cuts and she bolted right on.

Well the k&n sucks so far. Doesnt want to launch with it on no matter whay carb settings i use. Without one it rips so i need a less restricting air filter also a better exhaust with a better seal should help. I upjetted to a 90 today as well

yeah sorry the vin says 1983 so i guess its an 84 but its got a kickstart and from what i read those didnt come with one so im not entirely sure what engine i even had on this thing but it was pretty fast for a spree. anyway i have the af16E engine now, im assuming thats the one i need....hope so :/

Thanks Guys! Finding a se50 mount may be harder than modifying the one i have. Also i plan on using the stock shock, do i need to place that by the cdi as someone posted on your wall? or should i just get a whole new shock?

hey guys, im new here and not sure where to find the info on how to swap my motor off of my 83 spree. i already have the 2000 elite motor and ive got the spree motor off. motor mounts dont line up as well as the shock. does anyone have any info or picutres of what or how i need to mod these. thanks.
