Ok so I have been off the site for awhile but recent events plus summer have got me wanting/needing to ride again.... So I put in a variator last winter but didnt quite finish. At some point the kick start gearing popped out and it is locked its back on fine but my real question is it ok to just use...

Ok so the gold ring with the Kellie variator kit is it a mandatory thing to use my 01elite sr was bare stock and didn't :smile: :smile: have any part like it also my old variator didn't even have the screws to go in it so should I leave it off or go buy 3 screws tomorrow ....any advice is greatly ap...

My understanding is your scooter doesn't have a Rev limited so the Fdic is
a big waste of time and money

Yes that does help I think I will order the gasket but might do a little test cruising with it off so when people run it without the clutch cover do you just need to periodically check for moisture or gas/oil

Ok I got a question I have a 01 elite sr I just got my keli vari in the mail haven't quite got to the point of putting it on yet....but I got a little problem the rubber that fits around the metal clutch cover is stretched and fell off when takeing the metal piece off my scoot and isn't tight enough...

Yeah it was super peppy and did 38 according to the speedo I am still debating the cash since I just spent 900 on my 01sr and am sorta tapped out but we really want it I guess I will have to decide if that or bills are more important it is just so clean
