Arreche carb hard starting

Hey guys, I have been so busy I have not put many miles on my little Aero 50 (setup: arreche 19, Malossi cast iron 65cc, Boyesen reed, LV SP3) Too many rides in the garage to choose from :geekdance: I have noticed that when it sits for more than a week or so, it takes a very long time to start. Yes it is, Pauly!
It is a blast to ride, I plan to build it into a mini-motard.

Re: 300$ 2000 Aprilia SR50

I got two for the price of one and now I rarely ride my Honda's. My carbed Minarelli 99 is a beast, Arrow pipe and Polini 70 cc kit 60mph plus! Front and rear disc and 13" wheels make a plush ride on the rough 3rd world streets in my Austin neighborhood. My 02 is a Ditech purchased not running ...

Re: SA50 hard start / low idle

That oil ratio could be high for an otherwise stock motor, the plug could be loading up at low rpm. Try a hotter plug? If your idle screw has no effect there could be some mechanical damage on the slide or idle screw. Good luck

Re: What honda elite ch80 stock horsepower?

I repaired a CH80 exhaust where the pipe had separated right where it enters the muffler body. I just cut a large access window into the mounting bracket so I could get the MIG tip in there and managed to weld the entire perimeter. Then I just welded the cut out piece back in. Still going strong 6 m...

Malossi for AF16

Who else is running this BBK on stock everything else and what jetting/airbox/extra head gaskets/ etc are ya'll using? The kit came with a #85 jet but I would like to get a few more jets for tuni...

Re: change connecting rods?

There is a shop in Oregon I believe that rebuilds cranks. I inquired about having some scooter cranks rebuilt and they quoted me at $40 per crank with my supplied parts + shipping. Seems like a pretty good deal considering the rarity of a good AF05E crank  check em out! RB-designs.com
